My name is Samira Arjomand. I am a junior in high school with a passion for giving back to others. I’m fortunate to attend a school with supportive teachers and access to resources like books, computers, and other tools that help me succeed. I realize that many students worldwide don’t have access to the same opportunities, so I’ve chosen to volunteer to support the incredible students at Gashora Girls Academy.
The girls at Gashora Girls Academy are committed to creating positive change in their communities and beyond. Through their school’s strong focus on STEM and leadership, they have developed a remarkable track record of working together to make an impact. I’m hoping to help provide them with the resources they need to impact the world.

Purchasing books from the Amazon “wish list” will help expand students’ knowledge and empower them to dream even bigger. From my own experience, I know how transformative a great book can be in sparking curiosity as well as the motivation and will to succeed. The staff and students have curated a Wish List on Amazon. Will you help us acquire all the books on their wish list today?
If you prefer to make a tax-deductible donation to the campaign, know that your contribution is invaluable. The English department is eager to ensure students have the opportunity to read more than one book a year as a class, helping to improve their analytical and writing skills. Your financial donation can help purchase 100 books per grade level for class reading.
