Meet Alumna Rusa
AT GGAST I became a fearless and confident woman with a mind for solving problems and thinking outside the box. At Gashora, I discovered my love for Biology and Chemistry which shaped me to find my way into medicine and aspire to be a doctor. I was given choices that broadened my thinking and showed me how to believe in myself.
Now as a college student, a friend and I have recently started a project known as GLOW (Girls Lighten Our World). We came up with the idea after seeing young women in the medical field who lacked self-confidence and decision making skills just to name a few. The purpose of GLOW is to empower female medical students which we believe is an essential tool to drive development in all aspects of life, be it family, community or our country as a whole.
It is because of Gashora that all this is possible, that a fire in me was lit, and I am now dreaming, and dreaming big!
