HERE’S THE STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO SET UP YOUR AMAZON SMILE:

Before setting this up, it’s important to know you’ll need to start visiting smile.amazon.com instead of simply amazon.com.This part is very important! Aside from the warm fuzzy feeling you might get from supporting Rwanda Girls Initiative, the entire shopping experience is the same and most products available on amazon.com are available at AmazonSmile.

  1. Sign In and Choose a Charity

    Go to smile.amazon.com. The screen will look slightly different depending on whether or not you’re already signed into Amazon. Find the spot to pick your charity & simply search for “Rwanda Girls Initiative.”

  2. Select Rwanda Girls Initiative

    After signing in and searching for “Rwanda Girls Initiative,” select Rwanda Girls Initiative – it should be at the top of the list.

  3. Begin Shopping!

    Just make sure EACH TIME YOU SHOP, you’re shopping at smile.amazon.com (not amazon.com). Change your bookmark if you need to. Once you’ve selected your charity everything else functions the same. Shop for anything you might be looking for. Most products are eligible on AmazonSmile. If something isn’t eligible, you’ll get notified. You can checkout normally as well. No extra cost is passed onto you – Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase to Rwanda Girls Initiative!

  4. Share With Your Friends

    After you’ve successfully completed a purchase on Amazon Smile you can share the news with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via email. This option appears on the confirmation page after your order is complete.
